Revitalisation of HVB-Tower completed

After three years of construction, ‘tis done! The listed HVB-Tower has been converted into one of Europe’s most modern bank buildings, on schedule and in line with the group’s sustainability-driven targets. The ‘Green Building’ is extremely economical in its use of electricity and other energy, relies on natural cooling, and uses rainwater.

The HypoVereinsbank staff and senior management have moved into the tower and can now work flexibly, digitally and communicatively in a state-of-the-art work environment – as necessitated by the future.

Despite the extensive renovation, the external, futuristic appearance of this ‘beacon’ in the Munich cityscape has hardly changed, and looks just as modern today as upon its inauguration 35 years ago.

The new HypoVereinsbank headquarter symbolizes openness and transparency, a resolute focus on the future, as well as sustainability and corporate responsibility.
